School uniforms

Do you think that we should have school uniforms? Well since some people are blogging about this i thought i would. Well i would not like to have uniforms in school because i don't like dressing like others i like to express myself. If we ever had to wear school uniforms i would not wear them or not go to school because this is taking away our choice of what to wear. I like picking out clothes for school many people may not but i like to change my look up some days i will wear nice clothes and then there are days i feel like wearing sweats and a t-shirt and maybe a sweatshirt. The pros of having a school uniform is you wouldn't have to worry about being harassed about your clothing,promotes good discipline,and Reduces Fighting and Violence.Cons of school uniforms Reducing Student Individuality and Encourage Conformity,School Uniforms are Expensive.The price of school uniforms is ridicules i pay less money on clothes in like two months. so i really think we should have school uniforms and some say that if we get uniforms that we might have year rounded not that i believe this but if this does happen i would be very mad not only because of school uniforms but year rounded school would make me so mad. i really don't believe this will happen tho but if it does it probably wont happen for a few years and so this will be go for me since i graduate next year.But when i have kids later on in life i don't know if i would want them to go to school in uniforms because i would want my kids to express them selves this creates an imagination and its a good thing.so thanks for you time and i would like to hear your opinion's.

Bullying a big problem

How many people have been bullied in there life time?I know I have been.But did you know that thousand's or more student are afraid to go to school because they are bullied. People are bullied mostly because of there appearance, social status, race, religion, and because they think their target may be gay or lesbian. I really think this is wrong you don't even know the person that much and you think you have the right to pick on them well it should not be this way. You need to get to know the person before and they might actually be cool and a person you want to hang out with. There are two types of bullying you could see, do see.or are doing this right as i am typing this.The two types are physical bullying which can mean anything from shoving or tripping to punching or hitting, or even sexual assault.Verbal bullying which people taunt and tease their targets. But this can also involve sending cruel instant or email messages or even posting insults about a person on a website.Bullying can make the victims at risk for mental health problems, such as low self-esteem, stress, depression, or anxiety. They may also think about suicide more.Bullies common reasons they bully  to dominate others and are generally focused on themselves. They often have poor social skills and poor social judgment. Sometimes they have no feelings of empathy or caring toward other people.Here's what you can do to prevent bullying and worse things that could happen to you. For younger kids the tell a trusted adult but for many teens this way does not work but only depending on the situation. In a situation like a bully threatens turn into physical danger and harm this is vital to report because numerous high-school students have died when stalking, threats, and attacks went unreported and the silence gave the bully license to become more and more violent. 1. Ignore the bully and walk away
2. Hold the anger.
3. Don't get physical.
4. Practice confidence.
5. Take charge of your life.
6. Talk about it.

Abortion

Well my views and opinion on abortion issues is very mixed reaction. I think it’s right for some reason but also wrong. The reason I think this is wrong is because your basically taking an innocent life. So many women are have abortion's these days I have no idea how they could live with themselves I understand if there was a reason they did it (like if they were raped) . An estimate of 46 million abortion’s occur globally each year. About half of these abortion's are unsafe. Complications of abortion are one of the leading killer of women of reproductive age. There is another option you can have the child and give it up for adoption this way you can be proud of what you did you gave your child a good home with good parents, I am not saying that you couldn't be a good parent but maybe at this time it is the right thing to do and you are also giving you baby a chance to live. If you have the child and want to put him/her up for adoption and want to see you baby you could have an open adoption this means you could see, get picture, and hear about how they are doing. These are other options that you could have. So I have decided I am pro-choice because this topic could go anyway like if you are raped by someone you don’t  or by a family member so if this happens then you should have that choice of abortion or not. Many of you may not agree with me so I would like to hear what you have to say and that way I can give or talk more about my opinion on this topic.

iowa wasting money? yes i think so.

So who thinks spending money on one sport to stay in a hotel the night before a home game is right? I don't I think its right. It seems very wrong because what about the other sports they are important too. Iowa’s football team gets to spend the night in a hotel before a home game. They spend almost two- hundred thousand dollars just to stay in a hotel. Why can't they stay in the dorms well the coaches think that they players will drink, party, and bring their girlfriends or random girls to their rooms and stay up all night and won't be ready to play then next morning. I think this is wrong because if the players want to do this they should not be part of the team they should listen to the coaches and care what their coaches say and still in the dorm the whole night and not party or bring girls home. This money that they use to pay for this should be used to help pay for other sports too. I think they should spilt the money equal amongst the sports.

Afghan women and war

Should we stay in afghan to help out the women who are being beaten or killed by the Taliban? I think that some of us should help even though they don’t live here. We should help make organizations for women who are being brutally beaten so that they know what to do in that situation. I also think that there families should care for them and not sell them or just give them away to so guy to be married to who they don’t even know. Husband should not be allowed to treat their wives the way they do in Afghanistan. the men sometimes made their wives walk six paces behind them but when they walk in a certain area of town the men make their wives walk in six steps ahead because they are walking though a minefield. These women should not be treated this way no women should ever be treated this way. We have as much rights as men do. In this article I read had talked a lot about this and about this lady who ran away from her husband and his family because they were treating her like a slave and they abused her. When they went to some kind of trial thing and the judge how was a local Taliban commander have given the verdict that the husband and other men were to cut her ears of and then her nose I think this article tells a lot about the situation in Afghanistan. So this is why I think we should do something about this problem so that women can be free. Even though some people may not agree with this I think we could come together as a country and help these women in need.
