Do you think that we should have school uniforms? Well since some people are blogging about this i thought i would. Well i would not like to have uniforms in school because i don't like dressing like others i like to express myself. If we ever had to wear school uniforms i would not wear them or not go to school because this is taking away our choice of what to wear. I like picking out clothes for school many people may not but i like to change my look up some days i will wear nice clothes and then there are days i feel like wearing sweats and a t-shirt and maybe a sweatshirt. The pros of having a school uniform is you wouldn't have to worry about being harassed about your clothing,promotes good discipline,and Reduces Fighting and Violence.Cons of school uniforms Reducing Student Individuality and Encourage Conformity,School Uniforms are Expensive.The price of school uniforms is ridicules i pay less money on clothes in like two months. so i really think we should have school uniforms and some say that if we get uniforms that we might have year rounded not that i believe this but if this does happen i would be very mad not only because of school uniforms but year rounded school would make me so mad. i really don't believe this will happen tho but if it does it probably wont happen for a few years and so this will be go for me since i graduate next year.But when i have kids later on in life i don't know if i would want them to go to school in uniforms because i would want my kids to express them selves this creates an imagination and its a good thing.so thanks for you time and i would like to hear your opinion's.

ReplyDeleteI agree with JUSTIN PRUISMAN!!!!!!!!!! yea go go pruisman. but yea all it would change is people whose pants fall down might actualyl stay up. and I think uniforms would be uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that bad wearing uniforms because it's really expencive to buy cloths these day and some people cant afford to have nice cloths.
ReplyDeleteSchool uniforms are not that bad. I started wearing uniforms when I was in 5th grade, it’s not so bad. I went to 4 different high schools in the last 3 years. The dress codes went from wearing any color collar shirt with khaki or blue jeans pants. I moved back to the city my at the end of my 10th grade year and we had to wear khaki pants with a certain color collar shirt 11th grade they changes it to khaki to just white collar shirts. It’s good in many ways it helps to prevent gang affiliation, i agree with Taz it does help the less fortunate kids who can’t buy the expensive clothes.

ReplyDeleteThough you do make a good point on people aren't able to express themselves. But, just because you wear a uniform, you can STILL stand out as an individual. However, I'm still against uniforms. I believe self-image is what we all look up to, and what we strive to achieve everyday.
I feel that we shouldn't have uniforms because I don't want to be known as someone with the same style that everyone else has. It would be rediculous and I feel it would cause more problems because people will still make fun of eachother.
ReplyDeleteYes I think that I agree with Justin Uniforms is not a good I deal. I think it uncomfortable I don't think that everybody want to wear hte samething as everybody else and it looks like nobody changes there cloths. Then people ilike Halley said people are going to make fun of people there going to be like she/he think he took cool ha NO so I think that we should do that uniform thing.
